As you prepare to teach this lesson, pray for your students.

• Pray that your students will have a desire to be obedient to God.

• Pray that your students will recognize anything in their personal lives that prevents them from being wholly devoted to God.

• Pray that your students will see obedience to God as something He desires from us, not as something we do in order to get things from Him.
